OK,

I have a couple of older LC type machines kicking around and until I read
this post and the LC580 project page below I was at a loss as to what to do
with them. Now I'm wondering if I can put a 6500/250 board into the LC575.
Any issues? I asked on the LEM swap list for a board and it was mentioned
that there's the issue that the LC575 is SCSI and the 6500/250 board is IDE.
I hadn't realized that initially. So now my questions are:

Will a 6500/250 fit in an LC575?

I'm guessing I'd actually need to swap out the HD for an IDE apple drive,
yes? Any recommendations?

What about the CD drive and the floppy?

I'm becoming suspicious that this might not warranty the effort and expense.
Any comment?

Thanks for any input,
