Maybe I am missing something here, you mean they are on Bus 0? If you mean
they are both set to the same ID number, then this is not correct at all
Only two "volumes" partitioned off the same disk can have the same ID.

So, you didn't do anything to that drive that you didn't to the other. You
dropped the other drive several times as well? Just goes to show, some
drives are so much more resilient than others...   :)
