Nice one Bill. I can add that BBLite (not so easy to get now as it has been superseded) can be manipulated by a powerful GREP engine built in. (There was a nice tute on this at www.anybrowser.org/bbedit/grep.shtml). GREP is a pattern recognition engine that enables one to manipulate text in the most imaginative way, and globally across all nominated files at once...
