Hmmm... what are the minimum system requirements for a USB or USB/Firewire card? 8.6 or better I suppose? I'd rather use the oldest/fastest OS possible that will still network with Panther and support an Orange Micro Dos/WinPC PCI card (bought an old one - you guys any idea of the likely sys requirements on that?). 8.6 and especially 9.x broke a lot of old software I'd like to use. Also - an additional question - is it possible to buy a graphics card for my 7300 that will support B&W or at the very least 16 colours? I really want to play some old games again that crash or refuse to run at higher colour depths. What is the best system version that will support very low colour depths? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm determined that this 7300 won't just sit in a closet gathering dust - I hate that. As for RAM - yep, I'll be buying a bucketload :-) Regards, Jamie Kahn Genet -- If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate. -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
