Have you tried adding a space to the beginning of the Sonnet extension(s) name so it will be first in the extensions folder alphabetical order ?
This can be checked by looking at the extensions folder in "list" format instead if icon folders. After adding the space to the extension name it should show up first in the list and load first when the extensions load.

I have a PM7300 with a Sonnet Crescendo G3 500Mhz card. Sometimes on
startup, almost alwys after I have altered ny system folder, the
computer will freeze just before the sonnet extension loads. A
relative with basically the same configuration also experiences this
problem. After forcing it to restart, the computer will completly
start up. Any ideas?
