I've pretty much given up on the onboard ethernet, now my goal is to try and use a PCI card. I have two cards currently at my disposal, a Linksys LNE100TX v.4 and a generic RTL8193 based card, both work fine in Windows based machines. I've googled and googled and googled and found absolutely nothing as far as mac drivers go. System Profiler does notice that there is an unknown card in the slot with the Linksys one but not with the RTL8139 one... but if I put them both in it lists like 10 different things.
Can anybody out there point me in the right direction? Thanks for all the help so far :) Original Message: ----------------- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Mon, 4 Oct 2004 17:09:38 -0400 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [PCI] Power Mac 7600 and Ethernet Many generic PCI based NIC cards work -- but you have to have Mac drivers for them. - Dan. -------------------------------------------------------------------- mail2web - Check your email from the web at http://mail2web.com/ . -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
