I'm not using QT Pro; I am using QT 6 for Classic OS (8.6 and up), and QT
Movieplayer.

... by the way, those HUGE movies that I wanted to make smaller, and did so
by putting them in the .MOV format? They were Simpletext movies. When I hooked
up my a/v camcorder to my 7600, and uploaded the video (either using
Movieplayer or Apple Video Player; one or the other) that was the hUGE format they
were
put in....

Anyway, when in QT Movie Player, I opened the Simpletext movie and selected
"export" under the FILE menu, and that allowed me to change the format.
