for my part i'd be wary of those 'CD cleaner kits' ~ my pref would be for the air blower method , the laser head dosn't touch the CD and having those little bristles rubbing over it may not be good for it ~ this is just my personal opinion as i've never used one .
The cleaner kits are specifically designed to do the job.
Nothing to fear, unless you mistreat the disk... get cat boogers on the brushes or something...
