I have access to a SEAGATE CHEETAH 18GB 10000RPM SCA LVD SCSI NR, it is an Ultra2 SCSI 80 Pin SCA and want to put it into my 7600. The folk who sell this HD initially recommended an Adaptec 2940UW PCI card that came with a cable but they say that this card is really only for PCs. I know folk have discussed this prior, but now I am all ears. They want $45 for the card and cable. Should I buy this card and flash it somehow? (How?) Or go for some other option. Assume I have to go ahead somehow with this HD.
