It does not have an utter lack of standards. If a design of anything demands
the very strictest of inputs and throws a wobbly at the slightest deviation,
this is a sign of weakness. The strength of purity is a double edged sword,
it can so easily become brittleness.

Actually I welcome the most fussy and brittle browsers, I use them as a test
of my code. But that is not what the purpose of a browser is, the browser is
for the ordinary user to see and do things, and IE has done this in a robust
way for a long time and it is easy to lose perspective. When IE fronts up at
the gates of St Peter, I bet he lets it in.
