>1)- Is there a HD size limit for the PM 7300/500?

No.

Although the native HD interface is SCSI, and 38 MB and larger native
SCSI drives are VERY expensive.

However, an ACARD SCSIDE "bridge" can convert a EIDE/UATA drive to SCSI,
and the ACARD product will support 48-bit LBA (IOW, > 137 GB), which
means SCSI-attached 300 GB drives are possible on your 7300.

The SCSIDE "bridge" is capable of bursting at 40 MB/sec, but the 10
MB/rate of the 7300 will be the limiting factor.

If you want super-fast drives, get the LVD/SE version of the ACARD
product, and an LVD/SE SCSI controller, such as the ATTO.

>2)- Will a very large HD run too slow on the PM 7300/500?

No.

All data transfers are "interlocked", and the slowest party to the
conversation determines which speed is actually used.

Use a slow drive on a fast computer, and the slow drive will prevail.

Use a fast drive on a slow computer, and the slow computer will prevail.

>3)- Could I have a two 120GB HDs, or one 120GB and one 160GB?

For cost reasons, it is usually best to buy one large drive, rather than
two (or more) small drives.

You can indeed mix and match drives on a bus, but it is usually best to
segregate the fast drives on one bus and the slow drives on another bus.

My Beige G3/533 has only CD-R and DVD-R devices on the motherboard EIDE
channels (one drive per channel), and an ATTO LVD/SE SCSI controller
hosts all the hard drives.

Presently, I have a 38 GB Seagate 10,000 rpm LVD/SE drive as my boot
drive, and a 200 GB IBM UATA/100 drive with an ACARD UW SCSIDE "bridge"
(48-bit LBA support) also on that same SCSI channel. The other SCSI
channel of the ATTO card is used for external SCSI devices, which are
LVD/SE.

You could use this same HD configuration on your 7300, although the 50
MHz bus speed of your 7300 becomes a limiting factor. (The Beige has a 66
MHz bus, and the B&W has a 100 MHz bus).
