All right, so I was ResEditing the Finder and after I restarted, I went to see if "About This Computer..." had changed to "About Colin's Mac..." It did, but I noticed that the dialog box said that I only had 208 MB of RAM, when in fact, I have 224 MB, seven 32 MB sticks. Then I realized that 208 isn't a multiple of 32, it's a multiple of 16.
So this means either a bank of RAM or half a socket isn't working right. Is there any Mac program (for OS 8.1) out there that can tell me how much RAM is in each slot?
