Would someone remind me what the likely cause of a sound that comes from an old 14" apple colour monitor every now and then: sort of a creaky sound but not prolonged, a crack. Pic seems fine, bit less contrast than it used to have I imagine but not too bad at all. I don't think anything unusual visually accompanies the sound. This any cause for concern? I mean would it be wise to wear protective gear?
