I want to buy some for my 9600 and 7500.
Non-EDO (that is, FPM) is required for 7200s and a few other PCI Macs.
EDO is usable on other PCI Macs, but it will still be accessed as if it was
FPM.
You can use either on your 9600 and 7500.
You can only use the FPM on a 7200.
And then only some FPM will work on an Apple Network Server (ANS), which is
otherwise a 9500, but it has some special quirks which necessitate a particular
type of FPM.
Bottom line ... if you don't have a 7200 or an ANS, buy the cheapest. EDO
buys you nothing.
I didn't know that about the 7200's.. Being that I have a 7200/120, what
would happen if I put EDO in it? Fry the ram? Board? Both?
