Fry the board.

Incidentally, the 7200 was laid out for 3.3 volt RAM sticks, but this 
feature was never implemented.

So ... the 7200 can use the same  5 volt (with regulators and 3.3 volt 
chips) RAM, or 3.3 volt RAM (with no regulators and 3.3 volt chips) as 
the other PCI Macs. I believe all I/O is still 5 volts, though.

It is possibly due to this unimplemented feature of the 7200 that its 
self-destructive behavior comes.

Whatever the reason, the 7200 is limited to FPM RAM.
