Firefox is something different, forget this for OS9. Get rid of everything to do with Mozilla on your machine. Restart. Open nothing but IE (what else can you do for now?) Then go to http://wamcom.org/latest-131/ and downland fresh version of Wacom Mozilla 1.3.1 > > I have OS 9.1 on my Mac, 128 Mg. of RAM. You have preference settings. You mention just a couple directly but there are a lot. Let me see what I have that is relevant possibly: Web browser: /Web content: all my boxes are ticked except "use colorSync", "Use my style sheets" and "show scripting alert errors" /Web subscriptions: manually and nothing else /security: nothing ticked at all /security zones: medium /Ratings: nothing ticked (not only because I like all kinds of "conflict", "passionate kissing", "Frontal Nudity" and in particular I love "Obscene gestures" I collect the latter and practice them in a mirror often.) You should not tick for other reasons, in short because you must stop IE messing about as much as possible given your small RAM memory and set up... /advanced: I have 10MB cache, 50 places remembered, max conn is 4 and only other unticked is offline browsing "auto... connect" You need to set file helpers and have the right plug ins... I won't go into this here. Looking at the log you quoted it does not seem unreasonable... Under Cookies : I have Never ask to "When receiving cookies" And clear your Cache often in your case. To tell the truth, your small RAM reminds me of all the trouble I had years back. I solved so many problems by having lots more of it (at least 500MB in my opinion). Also allot IE more RAM in Get Info (Before starting program). Give as much as you can. I give 65MB and Mozilla, 85 MB. Your HD space is good, your processor great. What backside cache have you got (this is a real performance booster as important as CPU...) Hope this helps? David Elmo -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
