---Hey folks-How do I get my cable modem signal to

question. Is the ethernet connection on the back of

connect? I thought they were both 10/100. Help me -I'm
paying for a service I can't use. Big Wave Dave

Set your mac to connect to the internet via ethernet and use the DHCP option for address. The ethernet jack on the back of your Mac is fine for this, no need for a pci card.

If this isn't enough info, let us know which OS you are running and we can give you more specific directions.
