This is a good example of where a ram disk could be useful.

Apps are like gas, they expand to fill all available space.

Or, in my case, I just run more and more apps at the same time.
Real men don't need cmd-Q.  LOL  :)

speed up things in PS with one once.

Ug. Photoshop bugs me. Its memory and disk-cache and scratch-disk managements stink! Very very very poor design. I try to use GraphicConverter whereever possible. :\
