I have a performa 6360 with a 1.2 gb hard drive and wanted to upgrade to a 30 gb Maxtor hard drive pulled from a pc. When I started the system with a cd, the mac wouldn't recognize the drive in drive setup but I could hear that it was turned on. When I put the old drive back in, everything was fine. I also put the new drive back in the original pc and it worked fine. What could be the problem?
