Listers, I just saw a great deal on SanDisk Cruzer Mini USM Flash Drives (memory sticks) so I bought a 1 GB stick. The box says it is compatible with USB 1.1 and 2.
I have USB 1 via a PCI card, and use it to connect my Palm. So, it works. However, when I put in the stick, my machine immediately died. Powered down. I rebooted, twice, before things returned to normal. However, I don't see the stick on my desktop. I've done this before with borrowed sticks, and have seen them just fine. I'm running OS 9.1 on a 7500/G3. Any idea what is going on? Would the 1 GB capacity have anything to do with it? Bob -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
