Please, what are you doing?
To zap the PRAM:
Start/restart or power-restart your Mac.
As soon as you hear the startup-chime press and hold:
Cmd + Opt/Alt + p + r
To be very sure: Let it chime 10 or 12 times!
Lift your 4 fingers, needed for this process, and see what your Mac will
tell you. No taped pencil ever needed for this! Haha! Ooeeeps...excuse me.
Try again and happy Mac-ing now!
