I have just gone through 2 x 4 gig Barracuda
drives in one year and of course the original
seller hasnt returned my email enquiring about
the warranty situation.
This of course has happened once or twice before
and I am thinking there must be a better way and
wonder if I am on the right track with this or
should I just give up? and look far an old Imac?
I am on a budget and do o Photoshop very often
Is it worth thinking about IDE drives for my
7300/180 (G3 400 Sonnet with USB/Firewire combo
card)? Do IDE drives need a new PCI card? Or
should I be looking at a bootable external
Firewire drive that can just take over from any
internal drives and be a good investment for the
future
I hope theres a solution I am fed up with
replacing hard drives bought from dodgy dealers
thanks for any thoughts
Michael
