Subject: [PCI] Adaptec 39160 on PPC 9600
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
I have 9600 with Sonnet G3/400 MacOS 9.2.2.
Recently bought Adaptec 39160 on ebay but it isn't seen by PowerDomain o=
r SCSIProbe.
Any ideas?
There's a PC version and a Mac version of the 39160. My guess would
be that they sold you the PC version. The Mac won't see it unless
you figure out a way to get the Mac Firmware onto the thing. You'll
probably have to replace the Flash memory chip with one of larger
capacity.
