The whole PowerDomain series are Mac Cards - I have a 29160 (the
single channel version of the 39160) and it's fine in my PowerCenter
Pro, B&W Rev.1 and Quicksilver, so I've got no idea, but there is a
firmware update for it you might want to try here:
http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/support/driverdetail.jsp?
sess=no&language=English+US&cat=/Product/
APD-39160&filekey=39160_v12_flash_util.hqx
It says not fully OS X compatible, as it did on the info page for 1.2
on the 29160, but to be quite honest, it works fine under 10.2-10.4
for me :) If you need OS X support, you can always flash back to 1.02

I have 9600 with Sonnet G3/400 MacOS 9.2.2.
Recently bought Adaptec 39160 on ebay but it isn't seen by
PowerDomain or SCSIProbe.
Any ideas?
According to Adaptec's web-site, it is not Mac-friendly... Windoze,
Solaris, etc.
YMMV,
