Same experience here - AIM is slow and unstable on OS 8/9. Heck, it's abysmally slow and unstable on OS X too. I used AIMM on OS 9. Good basic IM client. Nothing facny. But it breaks now and then, due to AOL's screwing around trying to kill off 3rd party clients. http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/5360 Ultimately, before I moved to OS X and started using Adium, my soln was to get my friends to use Yahoo! Messenger. >I don't think there was ever a version of iChat for OS9, was there? Nope. - Dan. -- It looks like that installer file has been removed from the server.
