Same experience here - AIM is slow and unstable on OS 8/9. Heck,
it's abysmally slow and unstable on OS X too.

I used AIMM on OS 9. Good basic IM client. Nothing facny. But it
breaks now and then, due to AOL's screwing around trying to kill off
3rd party clients.

Ultimately, before I moved to OS X and started using Adium, my soln
was to get my friends to use Yahoo! Messenger.

Nope.

It looks like that installer file has been removed from the server. Does
anyone have a copy they can email me?
