Does anyone know of an alternative OS9 chat program that is AIM-compatible?
I've already tried AOL Instant Messenger (4.3 and 4.7) and it crashes my Mac whenever I enter the chat mode. I've tried AOL-IM on several different classic Macs (Nubus/PCI - all OS 9.1) and it does the same thing every time. It opens the chat window and works fine for a few seconds than - Bam - Major Lockup - Total Reboot required. IM works fine, though. I don't think there was ever a version of iChat for OS9, was there?
