* * *Frosh/Soph Regatta** *November 4-5, 2006 *Notice of Race* Hosted by The University of California, San Diego *Rules:*The Regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing, the ICSA Procedural Rules, and the Sailing Instructions.
*Format:*The regatta will be a 2-Division, Varsity, non-rotational event and 2-Division, JV, non-rotational event. Teams may enter two varsity teams, provided both divisions of the second team are skippered completely by women.
Teams may enter as many JV teams as desired. *Boats:* Teams will race PCIYRA-legal FJs, to be provided by each team. Teams mustprovide their own PCIYRA-legal FJ sails. Some FJs are available for charter on a first come, first served basis. Contact UCSD using the information listed below.
*Location:*The regatta will be sailed out of the Mission Bay Yacht Club. From I-5 south, exit right on to Garnet Ave, turn left on to Mission Bay Drive and then Left on to El Carmel Point. The Racing Area will be off El Carmel Point toward the south. Parking is limited so please try and bring as few vehicles as possible, and park trailers against the west fence. Boats can be launched from any beach or ramp, but rotations will be from the junior building at the south end of the complex.
*Schedule:* Saturday, November 4, 2006 Report Time 9:30 AM Skipper's Meeting 10:15 AM First Race 11:00 AM Sunday, November 5, 2006 Report Time 10:30 AM First Race 11:15 AM No Race Started After 4:30 PM *Housing*A limited amount of housing is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
