Calling All Women Snipers!
Women's Nationals is Coming to San Diego Bay

Start planning now for a midwinter adventure! The Women's Nationals is
headed to San Diego this February, and the local fleet is throwing a party!
Fleet 495, and its world-famous boat boys, are putting together a
world-class event. "This is one of our favorite events to host," said
regatta chair, Steve Stewart. "What could be better than women in snipes?"

The Women's Snipe Nationals has a reputation of attracting some of the best
women sailors in the country, including those that also race other boats.
This year is no exception. The regatta is open to all women sailors, all
ages, all experience levels and all nationalities. This year's event will
be co-hosted by San Diego and Coronado Yacht Clubs. The sailing venue will
be out of Coronado Yacht Club, allowing regatta organizers to use a venue
that would not otherwise be considered, South San Diego Bay. The racing
area provides flat water with consistent breeze. Locals consider this one
of the best sailing locations in San Diego. "This is a fantastic venue!
The rest of the fleet is very jealous that the women get to race such a good
regatta there," said Fleet Captain Doug Hart.

Don't worry guys, you won't be left out! This regatta encourages boat boy
participation. There will be plenty of opportunities to watch the racing,
plus a party on Saturday night at Coronado Yacht Club. Those traveling from
afar won't want to miss the trophy dinner on Sunday night, so plan
accordingly!

On the fence? We can provide charter boats and housing. Need a skipper or
crew? Let us make a connection!
