MinGW is a "Minimalist GNU for Windows" GCC -compiler which is free and easy to
get. Platform is Windows and exe was compiled from the source code of the pcre
-packet.

I guess the compiled conftest program (is there a conftest?) uses similar
methods as trojan horses do? Otherwice it might be from the compiler or it's
libraries.

Maby it should be mentioned in an INSTALL -file or release notes if it's just a
property of a test. What is a test virusscanner can detect as a trojan?
