hi Ralph.....I worked helpdesk for a company that did over-the-phone
support for off-the-shelf software for a bunch of fortune 1000
companies.....so, of course, I supported everything Microsoft ever
made.....the erasers were used a lot....and, I had to become a whiz at using
MS's knowledgebase cuz I had to fly thru the internet looking for fixes all
the time while people were chatting with me on the phone
we were supposed to help the office employees but half of our calls came
from the MCSE tech guys who didn't know diddly about how to troubleshoot
software probs :-)
the most important thing to remember is don't search the knowledgebase for
the products.....search technet....here's the link.....click on the advanced
search link at the top....this will find you lots more than going to the
knowledgebase and having to enter the product, etc.

have fun!

Linda,
Thanks so much for the info about this and the product for 2K on your
site - I am wondering how you found the info about them originally,
since the Microsoft site can be a real bear at times to find anything.
Ralph
