I did. You took my answer to the question out of context.

The original question was:
>I am running Windows 95 at present. I am intending to purchase a new PC
>which would be pre-loaded with either Win 98 or Win Me. I like to know which

I said neither and added this:
~ Neither. Wait until August to get the new Windows XP Home Edition
~ http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/default.asp

So if you plan to buy a new computer, wait until the second half of this
year. Then Windows XP will be your only choice.

Why buy a new machine now when you can wait and get the new OS pre-installed?

Remember, MS is dropping support for old versions of Windows.

Desktop operating systems entering Non-Supported phase (effective date):
. MS DOS x.xx (12.31.01)
. Windows 3.xx (12.31.01)
. Windows 95 (12.31.01)
