Gerald, that 2nd URL was for TESTING the first URL, (it's a
site to test ping times) to see that the ping times were
the same as they were in DOS, 'request timed out'.
I finally got an email back from my hosts that host that
site and
they said they don't allow pinging, so I would guess it IS
a firewall indeed, they did not say. I just thought
something may be wrong since the site was up OK, but could
not be pinged. I'm curious as to how you got that
information,
(from an IP check) since a whois.net shows me as the
owner of that domain. ?
Thanks,
-Clint

Most common reasons for ping failures (Request Timed Out)
1. firewall
2. routing
3. network
4. configuration errors
Proof for the above statements:
C:\WINDOWS> ping curingdisease.com
Pinging curingdisease.com [208.185.127.162] with 32 bytes
of data:
Request timed out.

So there you have it. What is the IP address assigned to?.
Depending upon
how you check you get 4 different answers. Looks like
configuration problems
to me.
The second address you mentioned pings just fine.
