Hi Barry, Yes, I agree. I tried the URL:http://www.spy.co.uk/writing/eye-21.96.html a couple of times (could get it to load partly and then it sent a 404). I pinged the site (in the UK) and that was fine. I whois'd it and found it was a "spy" net (grin). But all communications with the servers seemed to be fine. I could even get a partial "view source" in both IE5.5 and in NN4.7 - but no joy! I tried NN4.7 a couple of times but each time, it would partially load and then I would get a "network error" alert. I figured it had something to do with my bandwidth (or lack of), but what was interesting to me is that Linda could obviously get it to load all right. What was different? Location? Bandwidth? Browser? ??? I finally used the corrected URL Linda sent and it loaded fine. I like the site for its presentation and the way in which it shows the graphical relationships with colors and all. It is valuable for its demo of the way in which we can trace servers here and there. BTW, I agree with you about "computing fun." But then, I see science as fun as well! hahahaha.
