Hi Peter, Clint and all,

You can add the Deer DR-A300ATX model (300 watt) to a list of approved
AMD Athlon power supplies that DO work.  I used it along with a 1.2Ghz
Athlon on an Asus A7V133 board for a customer's upgrade.  Its been a
couple of months now with no problems.

Contrary to what that quote "approved list" states, I have
personally tried some of them and they did not work.  What I
have been using that works for sure (for athlon PC's) is the
Leadman 'PowMax' 6100C (300 watt) or 6100D (400 watt).  I
actually tried some approved Sparkle's and an HEC unit that
did not work.
