Jackie, in my opinion I would NOT buy an SIS motherboard. I bought a
"barebones" system with the SIS M599LMR board. It is supposed to
automatically recognize the cpu and adjust voltages accordingly, but I fried
three processors in it. I'm probably going to put in the barn with the
486's. BTW, I have some SIS info links if anyone wants them.
They don't speak kindly of SIS. Plus, I often see SIS mobo's in junkboxes
at computer shows. My three cents worth, John.
