A week ago I installed Microsoft Works 6.0 that included an update to
version 5.5 of Outlook Express. Since that time my computer has acted very
slow (about 4 to 5 seconds) opening files, closing files, deleting files in
the general computer and in Outlook Express. Before the installation, I
seemed to have immediate response. I have checked my resources and they
are in the green (about 50%) and my free RAM is in the 40 to 80 Mb range of
the 192 Mb installed RAM.
Questions:
Could it be Outlook Express Version 5.5?
Could it be Microsoft Works Version 6.0?
Could it just be a coincidence?
I was going to delete/uninstall Works 6.0, but first wanted to see if any
of you could shed any light on my problem.
