The EPSON EPL-5200+ printer we have at school has started printing very
very pale despite the addition of new toner. All the software settings are
set to normal, or best (maximum ink), not draft or minimum, but the printed
page comes out so light that you'd think the toner has run out. If we put
in a new toner cartridge, the result is the same. The only solution offered
by technical people is to buy a new printer, but we are only a small
organisation and can't really afford it :-(
I'm wondering whether there's any way of cleaning the printing head, or of
otherwise improving performance in a laser printer.
Hope some of you may have some suggestions. Thanks!
