In the wee hour of 10:50 PM 6/2/01 -0400, Jeff Dougherty bequeathed such
tales as these:
>Hello.
>I'm not sure if this is a video card problem or just a setting some where.
>I have Extreme pinball, by Electronic Arts(Epic) which works fine, but the
>score window is replaced with a small section of the actual pinball
>table--even when going into high scores, I can see part of the score table
>and the rest is the normal screen.
>The game worked fine on my 450 Mhz machine-I am trying to use it on this 800
>w/ 128M ram, Win 98
>Does anyone have an idea for me?
>Jeff
Jeff, some DOS games will not work with faster processors though sometimes
you can get a utility to slow your cpu virtually, sometimes you just can't
do it. I have a number of friends who keep older machines around for the
explicit reason of playing these older games.
