Norton's AV is very good and the annual subscriptions are cheap. If you go
to antivirus.ca.com before Thursday this week and download InoculateIT
Personal Edition you will get free updates with it, after that you have to
pay for it.
Zone Labs ZoneAlarm firewall is free, there is a paid pro version too, and
it's very effective. HTH
