Ann....has your friend tried Microsoft's shutdown patch for Windows
98SE?...there is a link to that patch and a bunch of other links to
shutdown help pages on my Windows page.....maybe there's something there
that will help her.....tho I would be surprised if your local server doesn't
know about Microsoft's patch for SE.....the shutdown problem is a known
issue
