DNAI.com is a large ISP in California. I doubt they themselves are trying to
access you but maybe one of their 1000s of customers.
See http://www.dnai.com/

Port scanning is like ringing the doorbell to see whether someone's at home.
You can't do anything about it unless a crime is committed.

Port scanning has legitimate uses in managing networks and I used to do it
on a regular basis at my place of employment. Any Internet tool can be
mishandled and misused.

Should you be concerned? I doubt it. A port scan is done to see what
services (if any) are running on a particular computer system. Maybe the
person doing it got the wrong IP address and is checking out you instead of
the location that is desired. You would need to check and keep track of what
port is scanned, when, etc. If you are really concerned you could contact
DNAI and ask them about it after accumulating enough data.

Should you retaliate? NEVER. You would then be in violation of your TOS
(Terms Of Service). Unless you know exactly whom is doing what you are
better of ignoring it. Trying to retaliate unless you know what you are
doing is going to cause more grief than fix any problem.
