Hi Pat and Jim,
This involves changing the Properties of a Windows Explorer shortcut. It
does not cause a Global change, so if you really like this, one must make
the change to each and every Windows Explorer shortcut one wishes to
change. I recommend keeping one of your Explorer shortcuts Properties at
the default value.
To do what you want: Right click the shortcut you wish to change. Select
"Properties." In the "Target" field, paste in the following line:
C:\Windows\Explorer.exe /n,/e,/select,C:\
Click the Apply and/or OK buttons. You're done!
HTH,
Chuck
PS. The default value for the Windows Explorer Properties Target field
is:
C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE /n,/e,C:\
