Still haven't heard an answer to my defrag problem.
Harold, one thing that can cause Defrag to do crazy things (or not work at
all) is when you set your Virtual Memory (swap file) minimum/maximum
settings to fixed values. If you have, try changing back to "Let Windows
manage"........ HTH, John.
