I recently had some warranty work done on my HP computer. After getting it
back, I've noticed that when I dial in to my ISP a digital volume scale pops
up on my monitor and right above it are the words "Line Volume". It is very
loud, the scale spans the entire length of the monitor, and you can hear the
electronic signals all over the office as it dials. My HP keyboard has a
volume control but I must turn the sound down to nothing before the Line
Volume is reduced to a tolerable sound level. I assume there is another
control for "Line Volume" but I haven't been able to find it. Any tips?
