Hi all,
All right, don't laugh, so I'm still using MSWord 95 ... well, it does the job for me.
Problem: The restore button (upper right hand corner) works for the lower portion of
Word, but when clicking
the main restore button (that's the upper portion of the window), the window minimizes.
After it minimizes it doesn't open when clicking the taskbar button. The only way to
open it is to right-click
the taskbar button and click Maximize (the only option available).
Note (and this is important), this problem exists ONLY with MSWord, all other windows
work fine. I reinstalled
MSWord and no improvement. Now the question might be, what file am I missing that
allows the upper restore
button on MSWord to work? Maybe I have it and it is in the wrong place. Maybe it's the
wrong question ... what
do you think? (Linda, MSWord expert, what's your opinion? I know she's one of the Word
experts here and I'm
not adverse to telling y'all that I was the one to invite her to the list.)
Any other takers on this one?
