Greetings PCWorkers,
I know that several of you have sent messages to PCWorks that did not get
posted. This was due to a variety of reasons, as follows:
1. One of the words in your email is on my taboo list, especially the word
VIRUS. When sending to PCWorks please insert an asterisk in place of one of
the letters, such as v*rus. Also, if you are using software which adds the
line: outgoing mail certified virus free, please configure it NOT to add
this line.
2. You sent your email from an address that is not subscribed to PCWorks.
This will cause your email to bounce to me, because only members are allowed
to post. This is to keep out the MULTITUDE of SPAM which is sent to PCWorks
on a daily basis.
3. You did not remove the footer. The footer is the information added to the
bottom of each post to PCWorks, specifically:

These lines MUST be removed in order for your message to be posted. If this
was not required, then some posts would have these lines in them three, four
or five times. Also it would make our digest nearly impossible to follow.
I have been away from my computer for a few days, and there are probably 15
or so messages which were legitimate, but did not get posted for one of the
reasons listed above. I will post these messages in the next few hours. My
apologies in advance if any of them get posted more than once.
Please take a moment before you hit that send button and look your message
over to see if there is any reason it will/should not go thru. Not only do
bouncing emails make it hard on me, it delays your message as well as help
for the other person.
