Hi, I am having the following problem and really would appreciate some
help with it.......
.For the past three or four days, my computer freezes and the following
message comes up in the little message box: THIS PROGRAM HAS PERFORMED
AN ILLEGAL OPERATION AND WILL BE SHUT DOWN...IF THIS PROBLEM PERSISTS,
CONTACT THE PROGRAM VENDOR. {i don't know who the program vendor
is....it happens at odd times, the most recent occurred when i was
reading an email}
Then when I click on details, this comes up: NETSCAPE CAUSED AN INVALID
PAGE FAULT IN MODULE NETSCAPT.EXE AT 0167;005FC5ab.
When this box appears, I can't do anything.....mouse won't
work.......cont/alt/delete won't work.............i have to turn
everything off with the computer button and monitor button...........i
have both netscape and explorerdownloaded, but i use netscape most of
the time....should i switch to explorer?...........thanks.....Ann
