Can someone tell me how a file infected with W32.HLLW.Hai can get into my
computer?
The file name was FNOEC.exe.
I stepped away from my computer for 1/2 hour, connected to DSL, with Zone
Alarm and Norton running as always, in the background.
When I came back, Norton window was open telling me I had this v*rus.
I am at a loss. All I get from Norton site is that it travels across
Networks only if NETBOUI is installed.
I do not have that installed on this PC.
I checked the other PC that is connected also, scanned with Norton's and it
passed.
Even odder..when I try to submit, I get a message saying that the file does
not appear to be infected.
Can someone give me some insight on this one?
Thank you.
