You are told both are OK by whom? Is this your problem or someone else's? Did you Click on MyComputer; Right click on C, select properties, then check Is free space > than that required for the program installation? Check the Windows temporary folder for any leftover files. Usually, you can delete anything in the C:\WINDOWS\TEMP folder not dated as of today. Running out of memory almost always happens when 1. You try to run a program that is bigger than the memory you have available, or 2. You are already running a program and then try to run another at the same time Close all application programs when doing the install, this will maximize available memory Using disk compression results in this message also. That is, the compressed drive must be decompressed and space found to allow for installation of the new program. However, when the drive is decompressed the space isn't available. In Windows 98 DriveSpace usually tells you this with a drive space error message. You can also get this message when trying to install a program written for another operating system. Like a Windows 3.1 program under Windows 95 or OS/2 program under Win 98, or DOS program under Win 9x, etc. Did you check the web site of the software developer for FAQs, help files, install files, Q&A, etc.? -- Gerry Boyd ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
