Janet, if you right click on the IE icon on the desktop, choose properties, then click on the Programs tab along the top, in this panel click on the "Reset Web Settings..." button, choose Yes in the next panel but remember to uncheck the "Also reset my homepage" check box if you want to keep your start page. Also you should check the "Internet Explorer should check to see if it is the default browser" check box. Happy holidays.
